In my opinion, this is the most important money tip out there. Certainly the best one I've ever got.

If you're planning to save on anything, do it automatically. You don't have to fight a willpower battle with yourself every time you want to put money away.

Instead, set up automatic (for example, every month) deductions from your checking account to your savings. Even if you do it for 10% of your paycheck, you'll notice how quickly it adds up - and how little you miss it.

In the long run, that's going to be the best financial decision for you.
